Bridges Insights focuses on facilitating the flow of capital towards impactful enterprises in two ways:
Insights’ most significant initiative to date has been the Impact Management Project (IMP): a five-year effort to build global consensus (amongst practitioners and standard-setters) on how to measure, manage and report on impact. Although the IMP ended in 2021, its legacy continues through the work of the IFRS ISSB, the Impact Management Platform and Impact Frontiers.
The Impact Management ProjectOur Spectrum of Real Estate Decarbonisation is a new framework we have developed to help investors assess and improve the carbon performance of real estate assets.
The framework categorises assets into four levels of carbon performance, based on actual performance vs Science‑Based Targets, and provides practical steps to accelerate progress. It covers both operational and embodied carbon, ensuring a holistic approach to decarbonisation.
Developed with insights from our investor community and industry experts, the Spectrum is intended as a starting point for change. By sharing it, we hope to encourage more dialogue, more partnerships and more action across the market.

Bridges’ 20/30 Visions series – launched to coincide with our 20th anniversary – is our attempt to understand how we can go further, faster. It features 20 interviews with thought-leaders from five different continents, with expertise spanning Government, investment, philanthropy, policy, innovation, technology and campaigning, amongst other things. We wanted new ideas, fresh perspectives, different ways of thinking about the challenges we face.
