It is increasingly clear that we cannot solve complex social and environmental challenges with piecemeal, one-size-fits-all solutions. We need a more holistic, more tailored approach.
Over the last decade, Bridges has worked with pioneers in the public and social sectors to develop a new outcomes-focused model that helps to achieve this. These ‘outcomes partnerships’ bring together government, donors, delivery partners and impact-driven investors with a shared interest in specific social and environmental goals. Front-line teams then have the freedom to constantly adapt their solutions to specific circumstances and individual strengths in order to achieve these goals – with a clear focus on and accountability for improving people’s lives.
We believe this model can play a critical role in the transition to a more inclusive and sustainable world.
All our outcomes-based projects are operated through Bridges Outcomes Partnerships, our not-for-profit subsidiary. Visit its website for more details on its pioneering work, both in the UK and beyond.
