Thesis

In the UK, nearly 800k 16-24 year olds are now classified as ‘NEET’ – not in education, employment, or training. There is a strong need to provide counselling and coaching to disadvantaged young people who are at risk of becoming NEET.

Investment

We are supporting a project called Unlocking Potential, which provides career-focused support to disadvantaged 14-19 year olds across Greater Merseyside.

The project is a partnership between Liverpool City Council and Career Connect, with project finance and project management support from Bridges.

Target Outcomes

The project completed in 2018 and worked with over 4,000 struggling young people. 3,929 qualification outcomes were achieved.
