Bridget Burkhardt

Bridget Burkhardt is a Portfolio Manager on the Growth Business team, responsible for coordinating and managing investor relations, investment analysis and portfolio company support.

Bridget began her career as a Financial Analyst with PaineWebber, providing analytical and marketing support for capital raising and mergers and acquisitions for companies in the healthcare industry. She then joined Counsel Corporation, an equity investor in healthcare and telecommunications businesses, where she helped source, analyze, and execute investments. Following a move to London, Bridget joined Bridges for the first time in 2003, where as an Associate she assisted on the initial investments from Bridges’ first fund.

After returning to the US in 2004, Bridget joined SB Partners, a venture capital firm founded by ShoreBank that invested in women- and minority-owned businesses. She later joined ShoreBank International (now part of Palladium Impact Capital) As a Senior Consultant, she specialized in structuring financial instruments to help ShoreBank’s clients raise funds from both public and private sources to fulfill their missions of creating wealth and improving lives in underserved communities around the world. She worked with ShoreBank International until 2013 before taking a pause in her career to raise children. Bridget also served her local community as an elected school board member from 2016-2022.

Bridget holds a B.A. in Business Economics and Russian Language & Literature from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
