Flexible managed workspace for UK SMEs
SMEs are key to economic growth, contributing disproportionately to job creation. This portfolio comprises 50 business centres offering a range of serviced office, light industrial and self-storage units. There are a total of 21,692 workstations in the business centre elements and 1,420,000 sq. ft. of light industrial and workshop units. We will also look to improve the properties’ environmental performance, and explore the possibility of tracking and reducing energy usage – while also creating additional workspace in existing buildings, supporting local business growth and employment.
The Old Vinyl Factory
Building 200 new homes for Londoners
Bridges acquired part of the Old Vinyl Factory site in a joint venture with HUB. The site is located within 400 metres of the connecting station of the new Crossrail route linking central London to Heathrow. Planning consent has been gained for over 200 new homes in two buildings, to be named The Material Store and The Boiler House. This development forms part of a large project to regenerate a 17 acre site that was once the EMI factory but has now been derelict for 40 years, which will invigorate the local community through local employment opportunities and the creation of new communal areas and leisure opportunities.
